Girls Weekend Away at Byron Bay

My girls weekend in Byron Bay was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G I did not want to leave and I am already planning my next trip away, husband and kids will not be invited…again.

We stayed at Inala House it is in a great location with only a short walk to the shops, restaurants and beach at Byron Bay and slept the 7 of us comfortably.

The inside of the house is just beautiful and everything has been thought of. My favourite part of the house is the live vertical gardens that are in the bedrooms and kitchen, I have no idea how they keep all the plants alive I struggle to keep a handful alive in my house.

I am not a big drinker but it was very hot and humid while we were there so cocktails became my new best friend. My favourite place for cocktails was the Mez Club and the expresso martini was my pick from the menu.

Did someone say cheeeeeeese?

Food is another favourite thing of mine and Byron Bay does not disappoint in this department. The Treehouse on Belongil was so yummy and the entertainment and atmosphere was just as good. Miss Magaritta has great Mexican and The Farm was a great spot for breakfast and walk around to look at the animals.

I almost forgot how therapeutic a bit of retail therapy is for the soul and being able to try clothes on rather then just buying in a hurry felt like a real luxury. It just so happened to be Spells warehouse sale while we where in Byron Bay so I managed to pick up some bargains, we had to visit the retail store too, I couldn’t help but drool over the ceiling beams and the feather light fighting was seriously gorgeous, the clothes were cute too lol. Auguste was another favourite clothing shop, I love their dresses but I ended up getting a bag which have used so much since being home.

If you are wanting to shop for home there are lots of beautiful shops in Byron Bay, I recommend Hope and May, Hendrix and Harlow, Ahoy Trader and Design Twins. Unfortunately I only had hand luggage so I had to hold back on buying too much.

Before I went away I decided I need to buy a one piece swimsuit, I have never worn a piece manly because they never fit me right, I think I have a long torso so I end up with a huge wedgie but lucky for me cheeky bottom swimmers are in lol.

These are the ones that came home with me, I have huge fan of Seafolly and these fit really well, you can find them here.

Well that pretty much sums up my girls weekend away in Byron Bay, if you get a chance to head away with your friends I would definitely recommend Byron Bay.

Have a great day.
